In the bustling streets of Lagos, over 100,000 resilient children face unimaginable hardships. Born into circumstances beyond their control, they find themselves trapped in situations they cannot alter.

Days are spent lingering around bus stops, markets, and bustling main roads, often resorting to begging for sustenance. Some have defied the odds, transforming their lives through sheer determination, while others have found solace in music, channeling their pain into becoming superstars. Yet, many are pushed to the brink, ending up in prisons without charges as a desperate attempt to escape the streets, only to face further cruelty and exploitation.

Tragically, a few fall into the heartbreaking trap of substance abuse. These are the stories of brave souls who call the streets their home, seeking refuge under bridges, flyovers, in quiet cul-de-sacs, abandoned buildings, makeshift shelters, and humble market stalls.

StreetKids Matter is committed to rescuing and rebuilding the lives of these vulnerable children. Through mentoring, shelter, care, education, and hope, we strive to create a brighter future for them.
